When I think of buying a food processor I do not compare it to an impulse buy that is for sure. I definitely think that it would be wise to read over some food processor reviews before making a final decision. And one thing to keep in mind is that you buy a kitchen appliance on what it can do, not what it looks like. I know to many people that actually buy something because it is nice looking, or it matches their original decor.

The main thing I was looking for in a food processor was the capacity. How much food can it hold? Will it be able to stand up to me making a simple dinner at home or making a larger meal for a gathering? So, I think if you do entertain you may want to go for a larger capacity so it will be helpful no matter what the setting.
